NIVARIUS

Nivarius is the first winery in La Rioja to produce white wines in their entirety, recovering varieties that have almost disappeared. It is the native varieties such as maturana, viura, garnacha blanca or tempranillo blanco and selected estates in the vicinity of the Sierra de la Demanda (a little explored territory for winemaking that benefits from an altitude between 700 and 800 metres and an extreme climate that favours freshness) that make up an unusual project aimed at achieving great wines for aging.

NIVARIUS

Nivarius is the first winery in La Rioja to produce white wines in their entirety, recovering varieties that have almost disappeared. Proelio is the Rioja red wine cellar. With a philosophy centered on the search for estates that preserve the diversity of Rioja's wine-growing heritage and make it possible to produce authentic, honest wines that are direct messengers of the expression of the land. At Proelio, we have located vineyards at high altitudes and territories capable of providing an X-ray of the different areas of Rioja, superbly gifted estates from which to extract a unique expression, channelled into traditional varieties such as tempranillo, garnacha or graciano.
